Oracle Software Consultant -up to £35k p.a.+ benefits - Milton Keynes
Oracle Software Consultant with a broad range of skills and experience across product development life cycle, such as business analysis, design, developing and testing, is required for my Milton Keynes client. The successful candidate will have commercial experience working in a professional development environment. Must have significant commercial experience of Oracle forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Designer, and Java.
Specific skills required are: 1) Platform and associated product functionality covering Unix, Windows, Oracle forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Designer, Pl*Sql, SQL, Java ; 2) Strong experience of component design and associated development principles; 3) Ability to analyse business problems and propose appropriate solutions taking account of the constraints such as budget and timescale; 4) When on-site work is required, flexibility about location and travel.
In addition, you are expected to be quality focused, work well under pressure, and industry aware. Finally, good communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills are required. Desirable skills include: JavaScript, XML, HTML.
The successful candidate will interface with external customers (and potential customers) and therefore must be presentable and act professionally at all times. There will also be contact with solution providers, as well as internally with dev teams, help desk, sales, and other consultants.
Candidates without Oracle forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Designer, and Java will not be considered.
